Industry Veteran David Broeckelman-Post Joins Neuro-ID
March 30, 2021, Whitefish, MT – Neuro-ID announced today that David Broeckelman-Post has joined the company taking on the executive role of Vice President of Engineering.
Prior to joining Neuro-ID, David spent 11 years at RSA Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management in several key leadership roles including, Chief Architect, Head of Product Architecture, and Sr. Director, Office of Digital Transformation. David earned both a Bachelors’ Degree in Communication System Management and a Master Degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Ohio University.

What In Particular Attracted You To Consider Joining Neuro-ID?
My perspective on life is really quite simple: I want to work on problems that are interesting and excite me, and I want to work on them with a team of smart, fun, and creative people. I found that rare combination at Neuro-ID. Building out our behavior-as-a-service platform is a fun and evolving engineering challenge that is also impactful. Neuro-ID’s technical insights on user behavior are disruptive and have broad application across many verticals, from the anti-fraud space by helping our customers shift-left on fraudulent transactions, to customer experience, by identifying areas of friction within a user’s workflow. Unlocking the power of user behavior alongside a growing team of smart and creative people was all I could hope for.
With Your Extensive Experience, What Do You Hope To Contribute To Neuro-ID?
Development is a creative process. It requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By leading with context, ensuring the right guardrails are in place to develop and release software quickly, safely, and securely with fast feedback, and engaging developers with business problems, I believe we can create an environment where innovation can continue to thrive. I have focused on streamlining work throughout my career, whether that be through code or process changes. I plan to continue that work here at Neuro-ID by nurturing a culture where developers find their work both fun and rewarding, and we amaze our customers with what we create for them.
Your LinkedIn Bio Is Very Good But Tell Me Something Interesting About You That I Won’t Find On Your LinkedIn Profile.
I like to find creative outlets outside of work that manifest in something tactile, whether that’s cooking, woodworking, painting, or assembling a jigsaw puzzle. Each of these activities allows me to find a quiet place within and enjoy the creative process. Whether the outcome is a meal, a piece of furniture, or a finished picture of something or somewhere, I get to express myself and create something physical, while also giving me time and space to think, reflect, and see connections that might not be apparent when addressing a problem head-on.
I also enjoy reading. Some years ago, I set a personal goal of reading one-hundred books that year. I succeeded and have continued ever since. I read all kinds of books: history, science fiction, thrillers, biographies, business.
What books are you reading now, any recommendations?
My favorite books to recommend this year include The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker, and if you like Science Fiction, check out The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey. I highly recommend it, and I look forward to Leviathan Falls, which is slated to come out later this year.
